Alumni Services

Our expanded Alumni Services Department now offers several online features:

The Alumni Network provides graduates with a lifetime of job placement services, a free listing in the “Locate a Practitioner” directory on our web site and many other industry-related benefits.

If you are a graduate who has not yet used the Alumni Network, you can begin the registration process here.

Licensed graduates can also promote their practices on Google, MSN and Yahoo! for FREE for six months. The Alumni Services Department, working with the Health Professionals Directory, has arranged this special opportunity. Enroll for the free listing by entering the word "Swedish" as the promotional code.  Find out more.

Alumni can also find out about continuing education, library use and forms for their respective programs by going to either Acupuncture Alumni or Massage Therapy Alumni on the web site.

Employers looking to hire a graduate can post job opportunities directly using our Online Job Listing Form.

Individuals seeking a massage therapist, acupuncturist or personal trainer can search our Locate a Practitioner directory.

Rental space will be listed on our electronic bulletin board, available only to alumni, if sent by e-mail to alumni@swedishinstitute.edu. Please include a description of the space, its location and the cost.

Volunteer opportunities for worthwhile events can be listed on an electronic bulletin board that is accessible only to our alumni. Current students cannot volunteer to provide massage because New York State law requires a license of anyone providing massage therapy. It is a felony to practice massage therapy in New York state without a license.
