Registration for Continuing EducationAll Continuing Education classes require pre-registration. Registration and/or tuition cannot be accepted in the classroom by an instructor. There will be no exceptions to this policy. Classes often fill quickly, and registration will be closed when a class is filled. Enrollment in a class will not be confirmed until a registration form and payment have been received. A confirmed reservation is required in order to be admitted to the class. Registration will generally be accepted for a class up to two weeks prior to its start. After that, registration will be accepted if there is room in the class; a late fee is applied in the form of a higher class cost. Prospective students can register for Continuing Education classes: By phone: Call the Continuing Education Office 212.924.5900 ext. 143. By fax: Send a completed registration form (available in the Continuing Education catalogs or download a form for Massage Therapy and Acupuncture or Personal Training) and payment information to 212.924.7600 By mail: Send a completed registration form (available in the Continuing Education catalogs or download a form for Massage Therapy and Acupuncture or Personal Training) and payment to Swedish Institute Notice: While we make every effort to insure quality classes and strive to maintain the high standards of our Continuing Education courses and instructors, we cannot guarantee satisfaction with every course offered. Refunds (Less a $15 processing fee) are given when participants cancel at least 14 days prior to the class. We are very interested in participant feedback and review all course assessment questionnaires (handed out at the end of all classes) in planning future schedules. Some general rules which apply for our regular students also apply for those attending continuing education courses. Eating or drinking must be confined to the lounge area on the fifth floor. Food and beverages (including tea and coffee) are not permitted in the classroom or hall areas. Water in a plastic bottle is allowed in classrooms. Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the building. Building management asks that bicycles be left outside. Roller blades must be removed before entering the lobby and put on after leaving the building. Under no circumstances may children be brought to class. We regret any inconvenience, but must enforce this policy due to legal requirements. Audio taping or videotaping is not permitted in any class. Payment > |
