Continuing Education for Massage Therapists

Licensed massage therapists, graduates of the Institute, and certain other health care professionals, are invited to attend classes in our Continuing Education Department. Some classes are open to all.

Classes and Workshops

All of our Continuing Education classes and workshops fulfill the requirements of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) and the National Certification Board for therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) for continuing education units (CEUs). The number of hours each class fulfills is provided within the course description.

Five-week introductory classes (modules) in different massage modalities are offered in the Massage Therapy Program and may be taken through the Continuing Education Department.

Career Enhancement Program

Our Career Enhancement Program was created to allow graduates who completed our Massage Therapy Program prior to 1998, when it was a diploma granting program, to take additional courses in order to obtain an Associate in Occupational Studies (A.O.S.) degree. 

The Career Enhancement Program is also open to graduates of other massage therapy programs who wish to matriculate towards a degree.
