Modules

Licensed massage therapists who are graduates of the Swedish Institute Diploma Program, or another New York State massage therapy program, may register for one of the five-week classes (modules) that are part of the regular Massage Therapy Program curriculum.

The modules are offered in the last semester of the regular Massage Therapy program in order to provide a brief introduction to different modalities within massage therapy which students may want to pursue in-depth once they graduate. Modules are offered in Western modalities, Eastern modalities and Complementary Techniques. Each of these is a 5-week class that meets once a week:

Introduction to Reflexology

Introduction to Tuina

Self-Care for the Massage Therapist

Introduction to Lymphatic Drainage Massage

Introduction to Craniosacral Therapy

Introduction to Polarity Therapy

Introduction to Thai Massage

Introduction to Sotai

Advanced Shiatsu

A description of these classes can be found in our Massage Therapy Program catalog. Pre-requisites may be required for some classes and admission depends on space availability.

Schedule

Classes are held during the same time as our current Massage Therapy Program. Classes are held during morning, afternoon and evening hours.

Tuition

Tuition is $225 for each five-week module.
