Offsite Internships

Students have another opportunity to practice clinical skills through our Offsite Internship program, which currently serves more than 20 locations. Under the supervision of experienced faculty, students work with a wide variety of clients and bring massage therapy to generally underserved populations for no cost. Locations where students have offered their services in the past include:

• Cardiac surgery and heart transplant patients at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital

• Parents of children at Ronald McDonald House

• Senior citizens at Lenox Hill Senior Center

• Dancers and musicians at Julliard School

• Runners in the New York City Marathon 

• Radiology patients at Hospital for Special Surgery
