Services

The library is open for reference and study during the following hours when classes are in session:

Monday through Friday
8:00 am to 8:30 pm

Saturday
11:00 am to 4:00 pm

The library is open to all students, staff, faculty and alumni who have valid school identification.

The computers in the library have Internet access for students' use in doing research for assignments. There are also monitors with headphones for viewing videotapes.

In order to serve students who are visually impaired or blind, the library has been equipped with special computer software that can enlarge text, scan and read text, or read information aloud from the computer and Internet. There are also tactile textbooks and tactile anatomical charts.

Graduates who wish to use the library can provide either an old student ID card or their date of graduation, which will allow verification of their status as alumni. The Placement Office at 212.924.5900 ext. 142 will be happy to help graduates update their information so they can take advantage of library services.

Borrowing Books

In order to sign out a circulating book, students and faculty members need to show their identification to the librarian. Books generally circulate for 7 days, with a 7 day renewal option.
