Accreditations and MembershipsThe Swedish Institute’s programs are registered with and regulated by the New York State Education Department. The Swedish Institute is institutionally accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT). The Acupuncture Program, which grants a Bachelor of Professional
Studies/Master of Science
degree, is accredited by ACCSCT and the Accreditation Commission for
Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM). The Acupuncture Program is a member of the Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (CCAOM). The Massage Therapy Program, which grants an Associate in Occupational Studies degree, is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT). The Massage Therapy Program is approved by the New York State Education Department’s Bureau of Veterans Education. The Massage Therapy Program is approved by the Association of Bodywork Therapies of Asia (AOBTA). The Massage Therapy Program is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) Council of Schools. The Massage Therapy Program is registered with the AMTA Council of Schools and Programs (COSP).
